The Maldives is one of top leading destination preferred by Italians and especially from peoples who lives in Emilia Romagna and North Eastern Italy. Air Italy will open its first long haul flight from Bologna and choose that idylliac archipelago while destination. Weekly charter from Christmas until to the later spring, its a Milan Malpensa-Bologna-Male thanks to a 255 seater Boeing B767/200ERs (12 in Privilege Class and 243 in Economy Class).
